
Mr. Dinkin has almost 20 years in IT engineering and leadership roles. In an earlier position as Manager of Production Network Operations for Aether Systems, Inc., an international Wireless Application Service Provider, Mr. Dinkin designed and built the technology infrastructure and data center, and ran technology operations achieving continuous uninterrupted service in a highly complex hosted environment. Prior to that, Mr. Dinkin was the Assistant Director of University Computing Services at the University of Maryland Baltimore County where he oversaw all network and system operations as well as user support for the campus of 14,000 faculty, staff and students. He also served as Director of Information Technology at the University Of Maryland School Of Nursing.
As President and Principal Engineer of Cobalt IT Consulting, Mr. Dinkin consults with companies throughout the Baltimore region, aiding them in designing and implementing IT solutions which best fit their needs and budgets while, at the same time, providing standardized approaches and high performance.
Mr. Dinkin received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Towson State University in 1987 and his Master’s Degree in Information Systems from University of Maryland Baltimore County in 1997. He lives with his wife, two children and one dog.
